YATS?
Yet Another Tube Screamer!
"O no, the bow tweek market is saturated with those Tube Screamers"

Just wait now! This is one dynamic versatile overdrive pedal. It
features the standard three controls, Level, Tone and Gain but each work a bit
differently than a typically Tube Screamer. There is also three mini toggle
switches to also shape tone. A high end op-amp drives is at the heart of the
circuit, it is very clear and articulate.
Level:
Sets how much signal exits the pedal. The pedal has a ton of output on tap so it
is not uncommon to set the level control below noon.
Tone:
A improved and smoother tone control than the typical Tube Screamer control.
This control has a smooth taper and no "ice pickiness" to it. Control ranges
from bass heavy, to smooth and mellow, to bite then final attack. Has a wide
range of sounds.
Gain:
The gain control is set up so you have less minimum gain than a typical TS and
more max gain. This means the pedal functions great as a clean boost but can
also get you that great ripping Texas blues tone.
Toggle 1: Classic - Fat:
This two position toggle controls the low frequencies. In classic mode
you get that clear articulate smooth overdrive tone you have known to love.
Fat mode you get a little less gain and a lot more low frequencies. The low
end becomes so big and juicy. Single coil players will love this mode!
Toggle 2: Smooth-Open-Crunch:
This three position toggle affects the overdrive's character. Smooth
setting provides a rich tone with lots of harmonics, the lows are not as
prominent as other settings. Open is the lowest gain settings and has a
bit more output volume, very clear with more highs and not much grit. Open is
great for using the pedal as a clean boost. Crunch gives you a bit more
highs than smooth and is dirtier and has more edge. Crunch feels like a Marshall
amp.
Toggle 3: Vintage-Modern:
A two position toggle to fine tune your sound. The modern setting
provides clarity and punch. The vintage setting is a bit smoother and has
less highs than the modern setting. Vintage is more of a "brown" sound, I like
to think of this setting as being a sagging tube amp.
The pedal is true bypass and features a blue LED indicator. A DC jack allows
the pedal to be run from 9V - 18V.

Though the circuit topology is based around a Tube Screamer the PDF YATS
does not sound like any other pedal on the market. It is clear, harmonically
rich and very smooth sounding. It's six controls provide a wide wide range of
overdrive tones to be had.
It excels as a multi color overdrive but also as a clean boost. Just set the
gain low and you'll be loving the boosted tone. Running the pedal on 18V
will further increase headroom and harmonics.
